What makes a successful newspaper?

In order for a newspaper to be successful in the modern age, where technology has made information available without going to the store and picking up a print copy, it must have a strong reader base, and present reliable information on interesting topics.
Many younger people today rely on the internet for their information, and a newspaper is something you used to pick up on your driveway coming home from school at the end of the day. Not many people rely on the print newspapers anymore. In order for a print newspaper to be successful, it must have an online counterpart. This opens all sorts of avenues for the younger generations to get involved in the local, national and global news.

A print newspaper is only as valuable as the information inside. If the stories are inaccurate, irrelevant, or simply uninteresting, the newspaper has no chance of selling.
