Online Music

Music has been a huge part of our culture forever. For as long as people have been around, music has always been popular. Different cultures have different thoughts of what good music is. For example, what I think is good music is probably a thousand times different than what a teenager in Africa would think is good music. Regardless of the type of music one is interested in, it is always being played around us, whether it be alone in a room or in a car.

One thing that has changed in the music industry in the past couple years is the rate of online downloading. In today's world, instead of going to the store and buying a CD, one can simply get it for free online. Although this is illegal, this is the way most people get their music. With this rate increasing, it forced many music stores to go out of business. Although this seems much more convenient to be able to get free music online, but ti is really putting a damper on the music companies.

Now that I have thought about the music industry and the negative effects of buying online music, I will stop getting music online for free and actually pay for it like it was intended to be paid for.
