The Book of the Future

Now in today's world many people think that the book as we know it is declining. In a sense this is true, the book popularity as a form of mass media is slowly starting to fade away but this is not entirely a bad thing. I feel that though the book may die the stories held within will live on forever.

Now I think it is important for people to read but I also understand that technology is quickly becoming the premier form of mass media. In regards to the book, this change in media is very important.

I have the feeling that though paper media is on a decline stories, novels, poetry and other such media will never disappear. I feel that the future of writing and publishing literature will be completely technological; writers will solely type their works and e-books will have dominance as the paper gets closer to becoming obsolete.

Though this may sound radical and may not happen for decades but this sort of outcome should not be dismissed as impossible. In fact it should be treated as an incredibly strong outcome for one of the most important forms of media in existence.

In the end we should value the contents of a book not the form of media it uses
