Demassification

Demassification is defined in the dictionary as “breaking up of a large company: the

restructuring of a company into smaller independent operating entities.” Companies do

whatever they can to broaden their company to reach more viewers than ever before.

During this process it is able to provide more people with companies therefore; more

people are making money, in comparison to one huge company being the only one that

makes millions. By magazines doing this, they have been able to have a variety of

magazines talking about everything from dating, fashion to even sports. Having more

magazines has also been able to provide for room for advertisements, making those

companies more money as well. This makes it possible for magazines to stay in the

business and compete with television and newspapers.
