I feel that the "next big thing" seems to be the e-book because companies and schools and business are trying to "go green," or at least they think they are going green.
For some reason companies, schools, and business think that "going green" means reduce, reuse, recycle, and use less paper.
They dont seem to realize that using electricity is not going green.
With these new e-books you need to recharge them using lots of electricity.
With paper books the paper is only printed once and can be reused if something bad were to happen with the book.
Unlike with e-book where the electricity only gets used once and cant be reused.
The way the media tries to get people to buy the e-books is by saying that they get to keep trees "helping the planet" if people buy the e-books.
Blockbuster books are only known as blockbuster books due to movies that have just come out.
Like Harry Potter and Twilight both became more famous after the movies came out.
Before they made the Twilight movie alot of people hadnt read the books and once they read the first one and fell in love they started reading the rest of the searies.
This concept seems to be alot more popular now that movies are getting better and better as the years go by.
Wasting more and more electricity by watching each movie just to see if you might like a book.
