What is technology Dependence

Everyone is dependent on technology. Regardless of how detached they may feel, technology is omnipotent in every aspect of our culture, and cultures around the world. It plays a role in almost every daily activity, from waking up in the morning with an alarm clock, to homework, and leisure activities.

There is no way to get away from technology and everyone is dependent. Those who try to avoid, or don't understand technology are simply being stubborn and don't realize how much technology affects their lives. Although it took the older generations a lot longer to adapt to the incredibly rapid growth of processing capability, my grandparents have learned to use and love the internet and utilize e-mail almost every day.

Technology dependence is the amount of technology people use in their daily lives to complete simple or complex tasks. It took a technology to be able to design something as simple as a toothbrush, and now we use technology to make biotech crops and advanced medicines. I believe that we are all dependent on technology and use it like a crutch; without it we would all be incredibly lost.
