In today’s world the printed newspaper is not as popular so one way to be a successful newspaper is to have a website as well.

Another way to be successful is to have good advertisements and a lot of them.

Advertisements are one way a newspaper makes money an according to the textbook newspapers are a higher choice for advertisements then television.

Also becoming a chain makes a newspaper more successful or at least the company more successful by multiplying the profits made instead of just one newspaper.

Also to be successful people must trust the newspaper in that the stories they are reading are true and supported by fact so having good quality journalists also help to create a successful newspaper.

Diversity in general helps a newspaper by having many different journalists, different stories, different advertisements, and even different newspapers (in the company) helps to attract a diverse group of readers, which in turn makes one successful.
