Tv and radio

Television has undoubtedly changed since it fist was introduced to us. There is a lot of criticism about what is on television now. Which may be justified but you also need to take into account the increase in the number of channels that are offered too. Television has also followed the trend of demassification. There are channels offered to people who have certain interest. Reality television has somewhat taken over and it is what most people think of as the first thing when you hear about modern television. What is often forgot is the channels like national geographic, history and the discovery channel. These are all channels that are educational and interesting but people take the focus of that and put it on mtv and vh1's looking for love for the 4oth time.

Radio also appeals to certain niches also. the problem with radio is that many of the stations that our geared toward our age group just play the same 15 songs on a loop. Any one who has ever worked at a store that keeps the same channel on throughout the day knows thats true. But with the latest technology like xm radio and other satellite radios you can avoid commercials and there are separate channels for people who want to listen to radio talk. The new advancements in radio make it easier to take out the negative aspects of radio.
