When a company breaks down into smaller entities, in order to reach a specific, targeted audience, this is Media Demassification. By breaking down, companies gain a stronger following. When targeting a specific
audience, a media corporation has the ability to make different forms of media tailored to the specific interests of
certain people. This turns one magazine into several, which adds revenue to their companies. In order to have
a strong hold in the dynamic mass media industry, a company must have many avenues to follow and must be
able to connect to everyone.

When a company breaks down it opens up countless avenues and has the potential to drastically
increase its revenue. The thinking behind this is that if a company can tailor to the specific interests
of certain groups of people, it will be able to sell more, and turn more of a profit. It all comes down
to the amount of money that can be made. When a company introduces other options, it opens the
doors to success. A company that sells white and red roses would make more money than a company
that only sells red roses, for example.
