Music is Powerful and Changing

Music is very persuasive to the listener. Music sets trends, popularizes phrases, and even controls people’s emotions.

Music is not just the sounds created by the artist but is also the culture around it. This can be both positive and negative, but is never the less strong. If an artist’s dresses in a certain manner or acts a specific way this then becomes popular.

Also the way the beat is set up or the speed of a song can change the way people act. It appeals to the emotions of everyone and can really change their mood or outlook on life. All music is strong and the only thing that differs is that with this power to those people who have it use it wisely.

Some people used this when the industry took off with mp3’s to create their own niche. This both helped the industry by giving people more easily and hurt it by making it so easy to steal. Because of these relatively new and easy ways to get music I feel some artists will just through together a record to get another one out because the last one was stolen.
