Movies are a strong way to get a point across to a viewer as the textbook states such movies as documentaries are specifically made to get a point across to the viewer.
Movies such as documentaries inform the viewer in a very straightforward manner.
Other movies are more subtle in making their point, such as horror movies although mainly for scaring the audience it can also be a warning that there are dangerous people out in the world and we need to be cautious.
Or even movies such as Gia which was a true story to show the world what drug abuse can do to a person by portraying it through someone else’s life, making it real to the viewer.
Movies are important not only for the message they send to the audience but to get emotion out the audience as well.
Viewers easily get caught up in the moment of the film and the majority of people watching have the same emotion, scared, comical, sad, and many others.
Movies are not only entertainment but also informative, and a way of letting emotions go from the everyday world.
