Media and Advertisement

Media and advertising work together in that advertising would not be possible without media because the media is what supports the advertisements.

For example television is a form of media but it is also a form of advertisement during commercials.

Depending on the type of media depends on the type of advertisement. For example on channels that are dedicated to children there are more advertisements for things such as toys or children movies, not things like arthritis medication.

But it would be the opposite for a channel such as TV Land where there would be more advertisement for arthritis medication then children’s toys.

Advertisements are also in other forms of media such as newspapers and magazines, which would also follow the same standards as television.

A sports magazine would not have advertisements for cookies but it would have advertisements for companies such as Nike.

This proves that the media and advertisement must work together to please the public which is what both the media and advertisement agencies are all about, appealing to the public.
