Blogs and the Internet have significantly changed the way that news is reported today. People now can easily access news on the Internet, rather than buying a newspaper. Being able to do this is very convenient for people nowadays, as all you have to do is go online and Google any piece of news you want. Or, you can go online to any newspapers and look at the news they feature on their homepage.
This changes the way that news is reported because when stories are on the Internet, they are often multiple articles on the same story, or multiple sites that feature this piece of news. This way, readers can select what source they would like to read the article from, whereas with a newspaper, there is only one article, but with this one article, you get a variety of other stories.
Blogs have also changed the way that news is reported because blogs are not only a source of entertainment, but they also contain news. With sites like Perez Hilton, and Oh No They Didn’t, celebrity gossip and news is only a short click away. Sites like these are also constantly updated so they are completely addicting and always have new information. This keeps the news constantly flowing which is very convenient for the readers.
